Full spectrum LED strips

The Ideal Solution for Demanding Manufacturers

In the manufacturing world, choosing the right components is crucial to ensure quality products and meet customer demands. At LCE, we understand that lighting is a key aspect in many industrial projects, which is why we offer Full Spectrum LED strips for manufacturers, specially designed to meet the highest market standards.

What Makes Full Spectrum LED Strips Unique?

These LED strips are designed to reproduce the entire visible light spectrum, mimicking the properties of natural sunlight. Thanks to their advanced technology, they offer technical benefits ideal for manufacturers in sectors such as:

Architectural and Interior Lighting: Precise design with adjustable color temperatures (2700K to 6500K) to create unique environments.

Precision Horticulture: Optimized wavelengths to promote photosynthesis, ideal for advanced cultivation systems.

Consumer Electronics: Uniform light without dark spots, ensuring a superior visual experience in high-end devices.

Industrial Product Design: Enhances aesthetics and functionality in machinery, transportation, or appliances.

Health and Wellbeing: Perfect for light therapy and work environments requiring high-quality lighting.

Technologies Behind Full Spectrum LED Strips

To achieve this lighting quality in our Full Spectrum LED strips, we use technologies such as:

Single-band chips exciting phosphors: Excellent cost-efficiency with good light quality.

Dual- or triple-band chips exciting phosphors: CRI ≥97 for premium applications. Perfect balance between cost and performance.

Combination of multiple chips: Produces full spectrums through color mixing, ideal for specialized projects.

At LCE, we primarily use dual- and triple-band chips, known for providing exceptional color reproduction without compromising efficiency or cost.

Beyond CRI: Measuring Light Quality and Color Reproduction

The fidelity index (Rf) and gamut index (Rg) are advanced metrics from ANSI/IES TM-30-15, a methodology developed to evaluate light quality with greater precision than the CRI (Color Rendering Index). While CRI (measured with 8–15 standard colors) has limitations for complex light spectra, Rf and Rg analyze 99 color samples for a much more accurate assessment.

A comparison of Rf and Rg values between a conventional LED strip and a Full Spectrum LED strip helps better understand differences in light quality and color reproduction.

Fidelity Index (Rf)

Rf measures color fidelity compared to a reference light source, similar to CRI but with a more precise and detailed evaluation. The maximum value is 100 (indicating color reproduction identical to the reference).

A Full Spectrum strip has an Rf above 90, ensuring very accurate color reproduction, nearly identical to natural light.

A conventional strip has a lower Rf (70–85), so some colors may appear distorted or less precise.

Gamut Index (Rg)

Rg evaluates whether a light source saturates or desaturates colors. A value of Rg = 100 means the color gamut is neutral (no over- or under-saturation).

Rg > 100: Colors are more saturated.

Rg < 100: Colors are more desaturated.

Full Spectrum strips have an Rg close to 100 (between 98–102), meaning they neither saturate nor desaturate colors, achieving a balanced and natural gamut.

Conventional strips usually have Rg values between 80–90, indicating desaturation of certain tones, especially reds and greens, making them less vibrant.

Full Spectrum LED strips clearly outperform conventional strips in both Rf and Rg, offering light quality very similar to natural light, ideal for applications where color accuracy is critical.

Technical Benefits for Manufacturers

High Color Rendering Index

With a CRI above 90 and higher Rf and Rg values, these LED strips provide exceptional color reproduction, ensuring colors appear natural and precise. This makes them ideal for environments where visual detail is critical, such as photography studios, art displays, retail stores, and more.

Spectral Consistency

They produce uniform light without perceptible fluctuations, minimizing shadows and reducing glare. Thanks to their advanced design, they provide stable light distribution, perfect for architectural and commercial lighting.

Advanced Energy Efficiency

They use state-of-the-art LED chips, achieving luminous efficacy of up to 120 lumens per watt. This performance allows significant energy savings without compromising light intensity or quality.

Voltage and Configuration Options

Available in 12V and 24V configurations, making integration into a wide variety of electrical systems easy. This versatility allows them to adapt to residential, commercial, or industrial projects.

Guaranteed Durability

Designed for a lifespan of over 50,000 hours, these LED strips are made with high-quality materials to ensure reliable long-term performance. They are also available in water- and dust-resistant versions, with IP65 or higher ratings, ideal for outdoor environments or demanding conditions.
